Danielle Asia Mikaelson is a main character, heroine and one of the most powerful witches in The Originals Fanfiction.
She is the daughter of Cecilia Solas and Nathan as well as the younger twin sister of Malia Solas and half-sister of an unnamed brother.
During her time on The Originals Fanfiction, she was the adoptive niece of Freya, Finn, Elijah, Klaus, Kol and Rebekah including being Elijah's goddaughter. After her birth, her family was forced to become vampires after the death of the youngest child, Henrik Mikaelson. Unable to give up her only child, Sophia brought Danielle along with the rest of the family as they left Mystic Falls. Sophia and Elijah became Danielle's mentors as she grew up. Sophia helped Danielle in learning her magic and Elijah taught Danielle how to fight and defend herself. After she turned sixteen, her mother gave her the choice if she wanted to stay a witch or become a vampire. Danielle chose to become a vampire so she could be with her family forever however after she was turned, her magic had not faded, making her an Original Hybrid: Half Vampire-Half Witch.
According to Sophie Deveraux, Danielle would bring death to all supernatural creatures. It was revealed by Aria that Neoma lied dormant within Danielle and she must die in order for Neoma to be awakened. The day of the Blood Moon, things began to go chaotic in New Orleans and Danielle went under an unexpected transformation. As she was kidnapped by Felix, Sophie killed Danielle in order to break the seal on Neoma and for her to be awakened. Sophia, Klaus, and Rebekah all witnessed her death and were devastated by it. Danielle entered the Other Side and could only communicate with Vanessa Josephine. The Original Family were devastated by Danielle's death caused a further rift between them. After the war against Neoma concluded, Danielle was brought back to life by her mother with the power of the element, Life/Spirit and returned to being a witch. She eventually became the first Queen of New Orleans. During her fresh start as a witch, she decided to do some traveling and brought Davina and a bodyguard that she never wanted; Leon Dominic, along with her.
Upon her return to New Orleans, she soon found trouble with the resurrected Mikael, Esther and Finn. While having to deal with the family problems, she continued her role as Queen of New Orleans and had done an extraordinary job. Danielle also became Leon's mentor and as she grew closer to him, he became a reminder of her when she used to be a vampire.

Danielle has a strong relationship with her family especially her mother who has always been there for her and was her mentor in magic. During her whole life, she has always look to Elijah as a father-figure as he was always the one who mostly helped Sophia care for Danielle as she grew up and after becoming a vampire, he became her mentor on learning how to fight and defend herself. She also formed a close bond with Davina whom she helped controlling her magic.
By the end of third season, she made an important decision regarding her life and was rewritten as Danielle Solas.
History
10th Century
She was born to parents, Nathan and Sophia Mikaelson. Her twin sister, Malia, died of stillbirth and Danielle never knew about her. Danielle and Malia are of Black British, Mediterranean (Assyrian), and Greek descent.
Shortly after the death of Henrik and Malia, Sophia and her siblings were forced to become vampires. Sophia couldn't bear to part with her child when she became an Original Vampire and Danielle was the only thing controlling her blood lust. Sophia took Danielle along with her and along the way, Elijah, Rebekah and Klaus helped her raise Danielle. While growing up, Danielle was barely told about her father because Sophia never liked bringing his name up in conversation. The reason for this was because Nathan betrayed their family and was the one who killed Sophia, turning her into a vampire and Danielle was never told of this. So instead she began to see her uncle and godfather, Elijah Mikaelson as a father-figure. Sophia and Elijah became Danielle's mentors. Sophia taught Danielle about magic and after choosing to become a vampire, Elijah helped her with her vampirism. Also when becoming a vampire, she somehow became a hybrid; half witch-half vampire.
1800s
In the late 1800s, Danielle was with her family in London. Danielle learned from her aunt Rebekah of how Sophia is so good with children. Sophia has the gentle love that many people long for or what draws them to her. When she was pregnant with Danielle and felt her moving inside of her, it made Sophia feel overjoyed. Its what made her heart grew more and more. After Danielle's birth and they all (except Danielle) were turned into vampires, Sophia felt she was given a purpose in life. To reunite her family to the way it once was. She wanted to give them love and a new home no matter how long it takes. But every time, something keeps coming between the family, trying to tear them apart. She still doesn't give up though. Danielle's birth was a blessing and she is Sophia's heart. She was shocked by this as she thought she knew everything about her mother.
Throughout the Series
Season One
Life is precious. It shouldn't be wasted. Would I like to grow up and live a normal life? A part of me, yes but...Having eternal life and getting to spend it with the people I love, is even better. My family even Marcel, and my best friend are part of my special world...But the most important piece of me, the part that makes me accept who I am...is my mom. In Always and Forever, after Danielle arrives in New Orleans with her mother, she is suddenly attacked by Macklyn Barthlomew. He gives her a warning that people want her dead. In All You've Got, Danielle once again fights Macklyn. When she is nearly killed, she is saved by her old friend, Matthias. Klaus decides to keep Dani close as the witches and others want her dead. InTangled Up In Blue, Danielle helps her family of trying to find Elijah.  Danielle singing at the annual music festival. In The Ultimate Game, Danielle also participates in the annual music festival. She then visits her Uncle Kol's grave and places flowers. She meets Brody Alexander Midnight. Unknown to her, Kol is watching them and he seems very worried. Later on, she finds her Uncle Klaus in danger. She protects him against Davina's attack but is injured in the process. Sophia finds them and becomes angry with Klaus. Sophia then takes Danielle home. In Sinners and Saints, Danielle begins to have nightmares of mysterious events. By the end of the episode, Sophia, Hayley, and Rebekah find the dead bodies in the bayou which is what exactly happened in Danielle's dream. In Fruit of the Poisoned Tree, Danielle makes the decision to help Davina with her magic. In order to meet Davina, she had to get permission from Marcel. When she reveals to him that she is half vampire-half witch, he wants her to prove it and she does so by using telekinesis. Marcel takes her to Davina's room in the church attic. Davina allows Danielle to help her. While helping Davina with her magic, Danielle soon feels something is wrong as she experiences uncontrollable pain sensing that her mother is in danger. Davina has trouble with the spell but after getting encouragement from Danielle, she is able to do the spell. In Blast From the Past, Rebekah and Danielle ask Brody of his history with Macklyn and Felix. In The War Begins, Danielle and Sophia are out of town, taking a break from everything. As Sophia feels something is wrong back in New Orleans so Danielle returns with her mother. Seeing Klaus being attacked and tied up by Marcel's army, Danielle becomes disappointed in both Marcel and her aunt Rebekah. Danielle supports her uncle Klaus and chooses to live with him and her mother at the Abattoir. In At Least With Sorrow, while attending the Nightlife Party with her best friend, Davina, the truth is revealed about her human boyfriend, Julian. He was killed by Hayley as she was told that he knew of her family yet he knew nothing of the supernatural world. Danielle is later comforted by Matthias whom tells her that there's nothing wrong with being friends with humans or falling in love with them as it helps to keep their humanity and no matter how much they fight it, it finds its way back in. He promises that he will talk to Sophia about finding a new place for her to live. TBA  Neoma attacks Danielle. Danielle begins to go under a unexpected transformation in Bring It On. As Davina tries to find out what is happening to Danielle, they are attacked by Felix and his group. Danielle whom is too weak to fight, Marcel appears and saves the girls. When Marcel gets Dani and Davina to safety, Klaus and Rebekah set to find out who is trying to kill Danielle. Danielle goes up to her room and sits at her makeup table, more black blood falls from her face and suddenly she sees her reflection looking right at her with an evil look on her face. Her reflection eyes begin to turn black and comes right out of the mirror to attack Danielle which causes Danielle to scream. Marcel and Davina hear Danielle screaming and before they can go upstairs to her room, they are suddenly under attack by Felix and his group of witches, vampires, and vampire hunters. She is taken to the bayou where Sophia, Klaus, and Rebekah are forced to watch her death. Later, Danielle finds Davina using her magic to undo Cami's compulsion and learns it was her Uncle Klaus who did this to Cami. Rebekah soon comes and asks to speak to her in private. Rebekah reveals that Dani's death will awaken Neoma from her sleep. A memorial is held for Danielle in Eclipse of the Heart. She is reunited with her Uncle Kol and they try to find a way to communicate with Danielle's best friend, Davina. Danielle manages contact with her by using a special spell that creates different colored stars and Davina quickly relazies it's Danielle. Later, Danielle makes the decision or Davina to bring back her Uncle Kol. In Rise from the Grave, Davina tells Sophia that she has been communicating with Danielle lately. Later, after Sophia starts to transfer Davina's powers into Sophie, she feels something touch her shoulder. Even though Sophia can't see her, she knows it is her daughter. In Long Way Back from Hell, Danielle meets Mikael. In Moonlight Sonata, while Sophia is talking with Katherine and things start to get emotional, Danielle appears and hugs her mother. As Katherine, Bethany, and Jayne tease Sophia about her love life, Mikael begins to get on Danielle's nerves. Mikael reveals that he plans on sticking around her until Sophia brings Danielle back to life. Danielle tells him that will never happen because once she leaves the Other Side, Mikael will be stuck there, only to be swept away by the unseen forces. She tells him to go away as she is tired of his constant bickering for the past three days. Mikael wants to be civil but Danielle does not consider him family. He reveals to her the truth about her father. He tells her that Nathan had agreed to have her mother, her aunt, and her uncles to become the Original Vampires and also that it was Elijah who killed him. Danielle refuses to believe him and runs out of the mansion. After Davina leaves the Mikaelson Ball, Danielle goes to see her and Monique Deveraux. She encourages Davina to embrace her magic as it is a part of her, it expresses who she is, that she should use it and love it. While saying this, Davina can hear Danielle's voice. Davina uses her ancestral magic one last time to bring the roses back to life. She is successful and feels Danielle hugging her and hands her a rose. In TO/TVD Special, Danielle is not present in this episode but Sophia had succeeded in learning the Element of Life/Spirit and will bring back Danielle. In Taking Charge, Danielle is seen watching Neoma who is sitting on a throne and once again is being bothered by Mikael. She questions him if he knew about his wife sealing Neoma inside Sophia. Mikael did not know of it and if he had known, he would be against it. Danielle is surprised by his answer, seeing that he does have a heart. Mikael asks her if she really thinks that lowly of him and she tells him that her family has told her enough about him to feel sorry for them. Their argument is soon interrupted by Neoma who is staring right at them. Neoma can see them as she is one of the most powerful demons in the world and can see the dead. Mikael begins to threaten Neoma but Danielle uses her magic on him to protect Neoma. She then tells Neoma that she should try forgiving herself. Later, Sophia begins to use the power of the element to bring those she cares about back to the living. Before she decides to bring back her daughter, it goes into a flashback of before the series premiere of when Sophia and Danielle in the car, on their way to New Orleans. Sophia is driving while Danielle is drawing. Sophia notes that she hasn't seen Danielle do that in a while and Danielle states that she lost her inspiration so she decided to take a break. She shows her mother the drawing when she finishes. It is shown to be an picture of Sophia, Klaus, Rebekah, and Elijah together, smiling brightly. Sophia tells her that it is beautiful but asks where Danielle is. Danielle says that once she paints it that it will be a lot better but she is the stars in the drawing. Whenever she is not around, just look up at the stars and Sophia will know that she is still with you her and the others. Once the flashback ends, Sophia promises Danielle that she will bring her back but she just needs to handle something first. On the Other Side, Sophie is angry that Sophia did not bring her back as well. Danielle believes that her mother had a good enough reason. That Sophie killed Danielle, she tried to kill Davina, and that she used the Original Family, putting them all in danger. Danielle states that her mother already tried to bring Sophie back but it didn't work because they have plans for her. Sophie is then oblivion by the unknown forces as Danielle is left with Mikael.   Danielle in the future. In Fate, Neoma uses an unknown power that attacks Dark Sophia with frozen glaciers. As Dark Sophia tries to escape Neoma traps the both of them in pillars of ice and Danielle sees this event screaming for her mother. Some time after the glaciers melt, she is able to see her mother in the final fight against Neoma. After Neoma and Sophia charge at one another and clash at each other with their powers, a huge explosion occurs. Danielle is relieved to see her mother survived but once the battle ends, she feels the wind picking up then she is knocked to the ground and suddenly the ground begins to shake. She quickly realizes that the Other Side is nearing its end. A powerful force begins to pull Danielle away until Mikael saves her. He tells her to hold onto him. Sophia finds herself in an unknown world and comes upon an slightly older Dani. Danielle greets her mother and tells her that she is not the Danielle of that time. Not understanding, Future Danielle tells her that she is not a vampire anymore and is back to being a witch. She still holds the decision to if she wants to go back being a vampire and for the past year, has been continuing living out her life as a normal girl, seeing if she want to keep living like that. Future Danielle informs her mother that she'll meet her mother soon and will learn a lot of new things about herself. Future Danielle also informs her mother to tell Marcel to lay off Leon whom they will meet soon and not to worry about Jayne too much. As Future Danielle walks away with her dog, she turns back to look at Sophia and tells her that she loves her. After a short while, Danielle is resurrected, reuniting with her family and friends. In Parting Ways, seeing that she is no longer a vampire and has returned to being a witch, decides to have a fresh start in her new life. She and Davina agree to take a vacation to do some traveling for the next few months. However with no say in the matter, Elijah decides to assign her a bodyguard with has Sophia and Davina's approval. Danielle parts with her aunt Rebekah whom also wants a fresh start as she wants to move on and be free from all the chaos. They then reminisce about what Danielle said to Sophia before they came to New Orleans. "Whenever I'm not around, just look up at the stars and you know that I'm still with you all. I'll be the stars myself." Danielle is then chosen to become the first Queen of New Orleans. Danielle sees the memorial wall on Rue Dumaine, where a crowd of people have gathered to pay their respects to all of the citizens who died during the War of New Orleans. Her adoptive cousin's name is also listed. Later, Danielle is reunited with her father who was thought to be dead and unknown to her, she has a long-lost twin sister that is coming to New Orleans. |
Season Two
  The Queen back in New Orleans. Danielle returns to New Orleans after her long trip with Davina and her boyguard, Leon Dominic. She and Davina surprise Marcel with a big entrance and they both hug him. After small talk about their trip, Davina asks Leon if he will escort her and Danielle into the city, adding more to Danielle's annoyance as she didn't want a bodyguard in the first place. Later, Danielle reunites with Elijah. As he dotes on his niece, she gets him talking about the conversation she overheard. He tells her that a few of the werewolves out in the bayou were attacked by an unknown vampire. Danielle wants to help but Elijah tells her that she just got back and he wants her to relax and take a day off. She reluctantly agrees and before she leaves, Elijah asks her why she won't become a singer. Her answer is that she was a vampire before and now that she is no longer that, she doesn't know what she wants to do right now for a career but still has time and just wants to mainly focus on school. But another reason is that, she wanted to be like him and her mother. Danielle, Davina, and Leon arrive at the record shop until Danielle stops and turns toward Leon. She questions him on how long he will continue to follow them around. He tells her that until she is done for the day and she believes that she does not need a babysitter. Davina cuts in, saying that Leon is just doing job and thanks him. The girls go into the record shop as Leon stays outside. After having a friendly chat with Joe, Danielle heads into the next section of the store and after a while returns to find some of the wolves from the bayou causing trouble. As Oliver orders his guys to kill Joe, Danielle uses her magic to stop them. Davina tells Joe to get out of there and Danielle demands to know where Oliver and his friends got the moonlight rings. After a little more torture, Oliver reveals that it was Cassie who made them. As the girls begin to leave, Oliver stands up and his werewolf face comes out and he is close to attacking the girls until Leon stops him and holds him in a neckhold. He threatens to kill him if he doesn't leave. Leon reveals that he stood aside so that he could give Danielle a break as he already knows how powerful she is but it will be the first and last time that he does it and tells Danielle to let him do his job of protecting her. She later has a small happy reunion with Klaus and tells him of what happened at the record shop. During the night, Danielle and Davina's dinner at the restaurant is interrupted when they are attacked by werewolves. They are eventually outnumbered until Leon saves them. Mikael eventually shows up, surprising Danielle and he attacks the three of them. Leon, trying to protect the girls, is killed by Mikael, devastating Danielle and Davina. Eventually, Elijah and Marcel show up in time and Mikael makes his escape. Danielle learns from Elijah that Leon will come back to life as he has Elijah's vampire blood in his system. Later, Leon wakes up and Danielle is angry with him for making that kind of decision. Leon states that is was his choice to make as he would do anything to keep her safe, even putting his own life on the line for her. They continue to argue with each other, until he learns from her that she blames herself for his death. He tells her to get used to having a bodyguard because he's not going anywhere and he won't die. She pulls him into an dark alleyway and gets him to feed off of her. Danielle is shown in a flashback, which takes place during her travels with Davina and Leon. She meets her Damien, her uncle and mother's older brother. She comes to see that he is a vampire but no ordinary vampire as he was able to use compulsion on Leon who was on vervain as well as finding out that magic doesn't work on her uncle. He threatens to kill Davina and questions his niece about her mother's memories but realizes that his sister hasn't remembered yet. Damien reveals to Danielle that him and his sister are the children of Agapios and Qetsiyah. Apparently, Damien wants his sister dead, holding a deep hatred for her and as she has something sealed inside of her by the First Elemental Witch. He is also able to compel witches, using the power to order Danielle to take a vial that contains his blood and force her mother to drink it, his reasons to why are unknown. Before leaving, he compels Danielle and Davina to forget about him and that their conversation never happened but for Danielle to remember to give her mother the blood and his love.   Danielle talking with Elijah. In the next episode, Danielle and her uncles receive a dinner invitation from Esther. Danielle is annoyed by the matter, however she chooses to go. Later, while playing a flute outside, she is visited by Nathan. He tells her that he also received an invitation to the family dinner and he plans to go whether she likes it or not. She questions him on his motives and he tells her that he wants a second chance with her and Sophia. Danielle refuses and calls him out for everything he's done in the past and angrily heads back into the mansion. At the Mikaelson Compound, Danielle is with Hayley and they talk about Esther's motives but Danielle also questions Hayley about what she's hiding about Hope. After Hayley threatens to kill Esther, Elijah walks in and refuses to have Hayley to cause any trouble. Shortly after, Danielle sees Leon having his morning run. Described as generous, funny, smart, friendly, and overachieving. She values learning and is a intelligent and knowledgeable person. Quiet, kind-hearted, compassionate and caring towards her family and friends. She has some of her mother's traits. She usually acts more like a grown woman.
As Queen of New Orleans, she takes her duties very seriously and is very daring and clever enough to take on Esther.

Physical Appearance
Danielle
Long, straight or curly brown hair, large, dark brown eyes, tan skin, and always has a warm smile. Dresses girly but with a flair of funky style. She wears cardigans, mini-skirts and leggings. Her fave shoes are knee high converse and boots. She wears floral patterns with pink, blue and all kinds of colors.
In Season Two, Danielle will start to put her hair into a cute ponytail most of the season but at times will still wear her hair out. Goes more into makeup, lush, volumizing mascara, eyeliner, foundation and some nude gloss. Florals, ruffles, cute pumps, and more accessories.

Sophia is Danielle's mother. They have a loving mother-daughter relationship. Sophia wants nothing but the best for her and her daughter. Sophia is very protective of Danielle, and Danielle is protective of her as well. It is said by Rebekah while Sophia was pregnant and felt Danielle moving inside of her, Sophia's heart grew more and more. Danielle's birth was a blessing and she is Sophia's heart. Just like her mother, she wants her family to reunite. After Danielle's death, Sophia goes down a dark path, worrying Danielle whom is on the Other Side.

Danielle's adoptive uncle whom she is very close to. He would do anything to protect her. After killing her father whom betrayed their family, Elijah helped Sophia raise Danielle. While she was growing up, so not only is her uncle, he also is like a father figure at times. Davina Claire

Davina is Danielle's best friend and sister for life. They first met when Danielle shielded Klaus against Davina's magic. Some time after that, Danielle decided to help Davina with her magic. While learning from Danielle, Davina was able to trust her and see her as a friend. As time went by, Davina occasionally got visits from Danielle and continuing to spend more time together, they eventually became best friends. However, strange things began to happen to Danielle and as Davina tried to help her, they were attacked by Felix and his henchmen, leading to Danielle's kidnapping and eventually her death causing Davina to become devastated of losing her best friend.

Danielle has a strong bond with her Aunt Rebekah whom would do anything for her. Rebekah helped Sophia take care of Danielle while she was growing up. Rebekah would always tell Danielle of stories about fairytales, myths, and about their family. As Rebekah was the first to find out that Neoma was inside Danielle's body, Dani made Rebekah promise not to tell anybody especially the rest of the family. After Danielle's death, Rebekah feels gulity of not telling the rest of her family the truth. Rebekah starts to form her own plan to get her niece back, mostly for Sophia's sake.
Niklaus Mikaelson
Besides her mother, Danielle loves Klaus very much and will always stand by him. Klaus has shown to be protective of Danielle and deep down has a soft spot for her.
