Cecilia Solas (Ancient Greek: Καικιλία), formerly Sophia Zariah Mikaelson is a extremely powerful elemental witch and the tritagonist as well as a heroine of The Originals Fanfiction. She will later join Eternal Darkness.
She is the biological daughter of Qetsiyah and Agapios, the younger sister of Damien, the niece of Kayleigh, and was the ward of Andra. She is mother of an unnamed son and her twin daughters, Malia and Danielle including the former wife of Aaron. She is also the Master of Efreet, Undine, Gnome, Sylph, Luna and Shadow.
During her time on The Originals Fanfiction, she was the former wife of Nathan, the younger adoptive sister of Freya, Finn, Elijah, Klaus and Kol, the older adoptive sister of Rebekah, and the adoptive aunt of Hope Mikaelson as well as the godmother of Tatia Petrova's child.
Sophia was born as Cecilia back in Ancient Greece. Her parents had to give up her and Damien in order to protect them. They were raised by Qetsiyah's best friend, Andra. After a horrific event with Damien, he was sent away and her memories of him were erased. Later on, Andra became her mentor and Calantha became her protector. By the time, she turned seventeen, she met her soulmate, Aaron.
After arriving in New Orleans, she found herself caught up in a war between Klaus and Marcel when she started to fall for Marcel, it caused a bit of trouble with her relationship to her brother. In Fruit of the Poisoned Tree, it was revealed that Esther is possibly not Sophia's mother and that Esther sealed Neoma within Sophia since she was the only one powerful enough to keep Neoma at bay. Sophia finally got the answers she seeked in At Least With Sorrow when she contacted Esther for the truth. Esther told Sophia that she is not her mother and that Sophia's biological mother is still alive. When reunited with Aria, she found out that she lead the army of vampires and witches to kill Danielle. Aria also revealed to Sophia that Neoma is no longer inside of her but inside of Danielle. After the death of her daughter, Sophia began to go down a dark path including becoming allies with Brody Alexander Midnight, Jayne Rutledge, Bethany Thompson, also with her best friend, Vanessa Josephine, joining. Later, Christabella Marcoux made her arrival in New Orleans and killed Sophia as a request by Sophia's biological mother. Sophia came back to life but it was revealed that her vampire side was dying meaning she was no longer going to be an Original Vampire and had returned to being a witch. When returning to Mystic Falls, she was able to learn the fifth element Life/Spirit from the help of Qetsiyah and Bonnie Bennett and brought her best friend, Katherine back from the dead. After Sophia and her brothers left, Katherine found out that the mother Sophia had been searching for was actually Qetsiyah. After defeating Neoma, Sophia successfully brought Danielle back from the dead and soon began a relationship with Marcel.
Before and during the events of Season Two, Sophia had been more focused on finding her biological mother and practicing her magic. She began college life and eventually started having strange dreams of her being in the ancient times of Greece and later found of that they are lost memories of her past.

Cecilia was born to the most powerful witches, Qetsiyah and Agapios. Since the Travelers were after Qetsiyah, she had to give Cecilia up and was later killed by the Travelers. Cecilia and her older brother, Damien, were raised by her mother's best friend, Andra and she grew up to be just as powerful as her mother. Cecilia grew a strong bond with Andra and came to see her as a mother. She also grew a sisterly bond with her protector, Calantha and eventually met Eileen Remis, her childhood friend when they were both nine years old. She and her brother got along quite well. But after some time when Cecilia turned eight years old, her brother attacked her and tried to kill her for unknown reasons. The First Elemental Witch had Damien sent away to some kind of supernatural prison. Nearly killed by her own brother left a tragic effect on Cecilia. Andra had Cecilia's memories of Damien completely erased so she could forget about all the terrible things that had happened. During her childhood, she became Andra's student in learning more about magic and how to use her elemental magic. Unknown to her, the first elemental witch sealed something inside of her. She also came to met Kayleigh for a short time but unknown to Cecilia that Kayleigh was her aunt.
Six years later, Damien got out of the prison he was sent to and once again tried to kill his sister. She barely got away but someone or something had saved her that day.
When Cecilia was seventeen, she met Aaron who instantly fell for her, however, she was engaged to another man who she was madly in love with. She then found out her fiancé was just using her so that he could take her powers. She then killed him and discovered that Aaron was watching the whole time and he did not run away from her. He chose to stay by her side and over time, she fell in love with him. They eventually got married and had a son. Later on, for unknown reasons, their child was taken from them and Aaron was killed. Hoping to find her mother and bring back her husband and son, she created a new spell, the Eternity Spell, in order to live forever. Yet a price had to be paid to complete the spell, she had to give up her memories of her husband and son. She believed that one day she would get her memories back in order to get her husband and son back. Cecilia has yet to remember as it has been two-thousand years.

After wandering the earth for a thousand years, Cecilia met the Original Witch, Esther and her sister, Dahlia. She witnessed Dahlia taking Esther's eldest child away, Cecilia decided to help Esther.
Esther made her children believe that Cecilia was their sister. Cecilia was given the name, Sophia Zariah Mikaelson.
When Sophia was a child, Esther fought a powerful demon named Neoma and she needed something or someone who was more powerful than her. Whatever or whoever held Neoma could keep her in control. And only Sophia had the power to do so.
During her childhood, she became best friends with Tatia Petrova.
When she turned 18, she met Nathan at her birthday party and he was made a candidate as potential husband for her. During that time, Sophia and Nathan became friends and due to Esther and Mikael's approval, Nathan was chosen to become Sophia's husband. At the age of 20, she gave birth to her twin daughters, Malia and Danielle Asia Mikaelson, however, Malia died of stillbirth. After the death of Henrik, Sophia was forced to become an Original just like her siblings but the person to kill her while she was still a witch was her own husband.

Sophia was in England with her brothers; Elijah Mikaelson and Niklaus Mikaelson. During that time, they met Katerina Petrova, the descendant and doppelganger of Tatia Petrova. She became fast friends with Katerina due to her reminding her of Tatia. Knowing that Niklaus was planning to kill Katerina for the sacrifice, was in a difficult situation. Not wanting to betray her brother or losing her best friend, Sophia decided to help Katerina, telling her to run. Sophia then worked things out with Niklaus so that he wouldn't kill Katerina.
1498
Sophia traveled with Katerina to help her find her daughter but they had no luck.
1600s
It is unknown what Sophia was doing at this time but she met Vanessa Josephine and granted her the choice of becoming a vampire.
1800s
During most of the 1800s, Sophia was in Tokyo, Japan.
In the late 1800s, Sophia was with her family in London.
She is described as intelligent and knowelegable person. She is very creative when it comes to art and ideas. Also has a mysterious side to her. Quiet, kind-hearted, compassionate and caring towards her family and friends. Developed into a very mature woman. Independent and smart. Loyal to her friends and family. Can also be stubborn when it comes out to helping someone. If a task needs doing, she'll find a way to accomplish it. As much as you see her fall down, you'll see her get right back up. Sophia always sticks to her beliefs and will never give up on them until she sees them through.
According to her father, Sophia's personality is a mixture of his and her mother's but she takes more after him.

Not that much different while she was still a human/witch. However, she made herself more focused on her family due to Klaus. She cares her about family and her lifetime quote is "Always and forever". She loves her family and wants to be with them for the rest of her life. She will not let anyone hurt or come between her family. Just like her brother, Elijah, she is one of the Originals that you don't want to mess with. Klaus describes his adoptive sister as a strong woman who never gives up and when she wants to help someone, she always finds a way.
Dark Sophia
"Marcel, I am no longer the Sophia you have known ever since I came to New Orleans. A darkness has took my heart's place so I can move on and do what I need to do. I know what you felt for the old Sophia but she's gone. The person I am now, is ready to unleash her rage."
Dark Sophia makes her first appearance in The War Begins. She comes off as a dark and cold person.
After the death of her daughter, Sophia becomes Dark Sophia. She grieves and then becomes darker, warped and twisted. She begins running on rage searching for those who have hurt her family and won't stop until she has ripped them literally apart, as shown in Rise from the Grave. She also begins to make some dangerous decisions causing her to make some unlikely allies. It was said by Rebekah that Danielle is Sophia's heart. When Vanessa questions Sophia about her heart, Sophia responds by saying that her heart had died. However she still maintains her loyal and kind traits.
Dark Sophia
After learning more secrets Rebekah has been hiding from the family, Sophia begins to feel tired of trying to keep the family apart due to Rebekah's actions keep driving a further wedge in the family bond and allows Dark Sophia to take over.
Dark Sophia later reveals that she was once Neoma's light as she was once a kind person however that all changed when her parents and husband were killed right in front of her. During the 10th century, Neoma cast aside her light as thus her light became Dark Sophia.

Has high cheekbones. Has a slim body, slender hips and long legs. It is stated that she has her father's eyes but takes after her mother's appearance.
During the ancient times and her life as Cecilia, she loved wearing long, flowing dresses in both light and dark colors. Now in the present day, Sophia loves to be cunning and self-confident. Just like Katherine, she wears pieces that are bold, chic and oozing confidence.

During The Originals Fanfiction, She prefers to wear cute and dressy tops, skinny jeans, short skirts, beautiful and elegant dresses, lots of heels and boots. She also loves to wear leather jackets and combat boots. In Season Two, Sophia changes her hair into more layered locks. She will usually be seen in leather jackets and skinny jeans.
